ORGANIZERS

Established in the 1980s and incorporated in 1985 as Sinostar Limited, the company was renamed as Sinostar International Limited (Sinostar) in 1989. Sinostar is a Hong Kong-based company specializing in organizing industrial trade exhibitions, publishing bilingual (Chinese and English) trade magazines and offering direct marketing services to a worldwide clientele.

Sinostar has been organizing the 'Surface Finishing' and 'Coatings' series of exhibition since 1983. From 1996 onwards, the exhibition was divided into SFCHINA and CHINACOAT. Now, the two exhibitions are held concurrently and alternate venues annually between Guangzhou and Shanghai, P.R. China.

Starting in 2006, SFCHINA Exhibition Limited and New Expostar (SZ) Co., Limited were appointed as the organizers of the exhibition.

Sinostar is also the publisher of 'Surface Finishing Journal (SFJ)' and 'China Coatings Journal (CCJ)' — the only official bilingual publications for the SFCHINA and CHINACOAT series of exhibitions. Both bilingual magazines are published in Hong Kong, with major circulation targeting relevant industry sectors in China and other parts of the world. Since June 2012, SFJ andCCJ have introduced e-magazines to the industry.

In November 2013, Sinostar-ITE International Limited (Sinostar-ITE) was formed to act as the new organizer of SFCHINA and CHINACOAT series of exhibitions, and the new publisher of SFJ and CCJ.
